Constructivism vs. Behavorism

Check out this great video by a teacher Eric Behr, a language arts teacher. In this video he advocates for the constructivist model of eduaction where students gain knowledge through experience and reflection. As opposed to behavorism which can be tied to rote learning, constructivism aserts that students learn best through application and creativity. I'm only providing this video as a resource, as an educator you need to find the right balance that makes sense for your discipline, teaching style, and most importantly, your learners.
