All Things Ed tech

Thank you for visiting my page.

I've got some exciting updates coming, so please stay tuned. The Fall semester is here, and soon will come new resources, ideas, and inspiration.

about me

I've been working in education for the past 10 years, but I've had a passion for learning all my life. I enjoy all academic subjects, I even have a fond respect for math, but the social studies are my favorite.

After graduating from Michigan State University, I worked briefly as a tutor before landing a job as a middle school teacher in Detroit. In 2011 I began the Masters of Arts in Educational Technology program at MSU. You can read about it in my coursework page.

I've transitioned from teaching middle school to high school to being a tech guy to now working at a community college. It is my hope this site will be of some use for other educators out there.

I grew up in Michigan, so of course I love cars. Every year thousands of classic car enthusiasts cruise up and down Woodward Ave, but few venture into the most famous car city in the world, Detroit.
In an effort to raise awareness about the historical sites in the Motor City, I've created an interactive map using Google Maps.
